Rashid Al Emadi Claims Top Prize For The November UAE National Monthly Medal Powered By Mashreq Bank
(Al Ain, UAE) – November 16th, 2019 saw the second United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Monthly Medal powered by Mashreq Bank of the 2019 – 2020 golf season. Hosted by the Emirates Golf Federation at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting & Golf Club over 45 UAE national golfers gathered to compete for the monthly prize. Rashid Al Emadi had a great outing as he claimed the top prize for November.
November 2019 UAE National Monthly Medal Powered By Mashreq Bank Winners at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting & Golf Club
The second UAE National Monthly Medal powered by Mashreq Bank of the new season saw some great scores, but Rashid Al Emadi came out on top after collecting a total of 41 Stableford Points.
Finishing as the Runner-Up for the event after a countback was Obaid Al Heloo with 39 points and coming in Third Place after the countback with 39 Stableford Points was Abdulwahed Al Qasem.
For the Best Gross prize, National Team Member Daood Jaffal fired an impressive 2 over par 73.
In the Senior Division, for those who are 50 years of age or older, EGF Vice-Chairman Yousuf Al Ali was the clear winner with 33 points.
Awards were also given based on handicap with an A-Division (0-14 handicap) and B-Division (14-24 handicap) winners. Winning the A-Division Prize was Akram Skaik with 38 Stableford Points. Humaid Al Suwaidi won the Division-B prize with 35 Stableford Points.
In the Junior Division, the EGF had 8 juniors compete for the top three spots. Coming in First Place was Mohammad Skaik with 40 points. Finishing in Second Place was Abdulla Darwish with 39 points and rounding off the top-three was Rashid Al Hefeiti with 23 points.
Par 3 Winners
During the event, the EGF hosted 9 members of the National Foundation Squad on the Yas Links Academy Par 3 Course. The winner of the “Par 3 Competition” was Rashed Al Naqbi.
The Runner-up for the Par 3 Competition was Latifa Al Jassmy and Sara Al Hashmi finished in Third Place.
The event also had two “On Course Challenges” up for grabs. Taking home the Longest Drive Award was Yousuf Al Ali. Winning the Nearest to the Pin Award was Abdulwahed Al Qasem.
